Child of the Marriage

According to the Divorce Act (Canada) children of the marriage are:

  • Children of both you and the other parent who are under the age of majority and who are dependent on you.
  • Children to whom either you or the other parent has acted in place of a parent.
  • Children at or over the age of majority who are still dependent on you due to illness, disability, or other cause (such as post secondary education).
